Trump's Plan
Donald trump’s plan on the other side seems to focus heavily upon deporting immigrants and closing the border of United States. This issue has always been controversial. It is fact that America is a nation of immigrants. The journey and the success would frankly not be possible without the tireless effort of generations of immigrants who have come here from various places on the globe. Per the National Venture Capital Association, 25 percent of the public United States companies are started by immigrants that includes Google, eBay, Yahoo!, Sun Microsystems, and Intel. That has certainly helped in increasing the GDP of America and creating more jobs. However, the plan Donald Trump is trying to adopt for the United States does exactly the opposite. The American Action Forum, a policy institute based in Washington D.C., depicts that if Donald’s immigration Law is enforced immediately, it would cost the federal government around $400 billion to $600 billion. Also, this plan would shrink the labor force by 11 million people and reduce the real GDP by $1.6 trillion. Surprisingly Trump said he could achieve it in just 18 months.
